dodoaltac 55 Posted April 1, 2024 Pretty much, I suggest returning the old even creator as it had much more options and was way more flexible than the text file one, and annexing provinces to certain nations doesn't seem to be an option, which would actually ruin the best part of event creation, so I suggest returning the old event creator from aoh2 with some new added features: Ability to add/remove armies Ability to change province religion/pop graph thru events Ability to move armies thru events Ability to rename provinces thru events Ability to change (not kill) King's thru events Ability to unlock/hide wonders thru events Ability to change faction name thru events Ability to change faction religion thru events Ability to change HRE provinces thru events ability to dismatle HRE thru events editor suggested features: Ability to add custom wonders Ability to add custom leaders Ability to add custom army generals Ability to copy/paste HRE city states as its too complicated to manually add Ability to toggle borders of certain scenarios to copy (ex: can see modern borders overlayed over map in scenario editor and event creator to add borders easily now that there are so much provinces) That's it 😆 Note to @Łukasz Jakowski Ty for the effort ur putting in the game, I can't wait to work on the historical mod I talked about when it releases Wayne23lololh, OwnM3Z0 and Unity
Thefernofrommars 86 Posted April 1, 2024 I would say the opposite honestly, making events through text files is way way faster for scenario development. The editor in AOH2 is notoriously buggy, I do not want to see it return. Outlawexperience and Wayne23lololh

AND WITH HOW HUGE THE MAP IS THAT WOULD BE EXTREMELY ANNOYING, so i suggest a less buggy events creator adapted for AOH3 With The TXT files Being Optional for those who want it

I was so annoyed when was working on hoi4 mod I had to looking for every state, open it in file editor and doing copy+paste actions If gui editing good implemented it may make a modding much faster. I know that in situation with hoi4 I can write a python script and make it more easer. But, for some reason I dropped the full mod developing. The main reason is mod too unserious for too many serious work, that I do for it.
Ares I of Congo 88 Posted April 2, 2024 I think using files is better but good event options though
