Changes in the political system should lead to civil war

Recommended Posts

When we choose to move from a monarchy to a democratic parliamentary system, it should lead to the outbreak of civil war. We should not just click the button to change the political system and then change it without any consequences.

The mechanism for changing the political system that leads to national civil war should be applied to all political system changes, whether it is a monarchy becoming a democracy, or a democracy becoming a communist system, unless there is an additional system designed to peacefully change the political system.

Otherwise, according to the current system, players only need to spend part of the resources to change the political system. It is too simple. After all, changing the national political system is a very important thing, and theoretically it will have a considerable impact.

If changing the political system may lead to civil war, players will not easily change to a political system that can get better game bonuses, but will be more prepared before making the change.

Or we can set that if a dictatorship country wants to change its political system, there will be a high probability of civil war, but if it is a democratic country, the probability of civil war breaking out will be reduced, which will provide players with a randomness when changing the political system.

Gran idea, hace tiempo yo había sugerido algo parecido, ya que si es muy simple y fácil cambiar de ideología a cambio de unos pocos recursos, cuando en realidad lleva situaciones complejas como una guerra civil, además de que haría al juego más divertido.

While it is agreeable that changing ideologies should have a wider impact, a civil war should be the most devastating and extreme one.

A switch in ideology was not always the cause of civil wars.

A change in ideology brought by a new government has always been the case, and it rarely caused a full outbreak of a civil war.

Potential consequences of an ideological shift could include:

- Social unrest

- Economic crisis

- Civil war

- Secession of states

- Reduction in resource production

- Damage to diplomatic relations

- Declaration of war by countries with differing ideologies

- Military desertion

- Population decline due to migration.
