Is NATO still a thing in the modern day scenario?

In earlier videos, we'd seen NATO flag in the diplomacy screen of certain nations, is this still a feature or was it removed? Moreover, there was mention on earlier posts about the possibility of uniting the holy roman empire through diplomacy. Is this still possible?

that's why i think civilizations AI should become much more neutral when entering the age of information, like by 60% or 80% so civilizations like russia and the US don't conquer everyone using OP alliances, maybe democracies should prioritize puppet states, changing ideology, and releasing vassals over any other thing in peace treaties too since normally democracies don't annex land like that, it would make the modern scenario much more sane for the period because like 99% of the modern day scenario civs are democracies

I'm fine with NATO not being in the default modern day map, especially considering scenario editor alliances can't be broken up. Could always be modded in anyways.

I dont know maybe as the AI from AoH2 is dumb America and Russia would not attack each other much and if the AI doesnt change much nothing would happen. adding NATO should be an option for the cold war though
