Age of History 3 - Criticism

Recommended Posts

Welcome everyone to my modest post in which I would like to discuss AoH3 and its problems on release.

WARNING: This post are my own opinion of the game. The game haves tons of great features that I'm grateful for but this post about its drawbacks.

 1. Bad battle mechanics.

The battle mechanic we have now better than in AoH2 but still needs more attention. The current battle system feels like it made only for medieval warfare. Currently it's uncomfortable to play with that warfare in modern day scenarios. It also have much more drawbacks that need to be fixed or reimagined.

2. Poor diplomacy.

The charm of AoH2 was great diplomacy. You could do many things that Paradox games never had. Ultimatums, unions, trade requests and many other are missing. Łukasz, you can't fix bordergore by reducing the game's contend that were only charm.

3. AWFUL alliances mechanics.

Current alliance system is awful. Like if X country would help Y country as ally, why wouldn't it be included in peace deal? It's okay about vassals, vassals couldn't make demands, but allies could. We couldn't even represent WW1 in game correctly!

4. Many many bugs.

Game now unpredictable, and it's a fact. Nothing to say about it....

5. World feels empty.

I don't know what causes it, but game feels empty... Like it feels boring... Like I play the game I already played for long time.. I don't feel emotions while playing this

Also, of you're at war with 2 nations, only one can be included in the peace deal. A really annoying issue.
