Heirs of the New World — An upcoming alternate-history mod!

Recommended Posts

I, wafflestein8, welcome you to my second mod project, which is set in a world different from ours, where the Treaty of Versailles was different from the one in our timeline.

What if the Treaty of Versailles was altered?

In this new world, the Germans faced greater humiliation at the expense of their western territories to the Entente, and their southern states to Spartakist revolutions. What used to be the German Republic is now colloquially known as the Prussian Republic.

In the east, the Russian bear faced a severe blow to itself after the Bolsheviks rebelled against the Russian Republic under Lavr Kornilov, who came to power through a coup d'etat against the provisional president, Alexander Kerensky. The Whites maintained their authority in Russia after the civil war, but Death took Kornilov when he was assassinated by a peasant in 1926, making his deputy, Boris Savinkov, his successor.

After the war ended in Anatolia, the Turkish people would lose their hopes for independence after Ataturk's revolt would fail. The Ottomans would keep a firm hand over their lands, however, unbeknownst to their people, the Sublime Ottoman State is but a mere puppet under the boot of the Entente.

Radical ideologies rose to prominence in Italy aswell. In 1922, Mussolini's March on Rome would turn from a bloodless coup d'etat to a revolution, when Victor Emmanuele III, in an effort to protect liberal democracy, demand a stop to the March by sending military forces. Mussolini and his Blackshirts would win and the King would flee the nation, but Italy would live in a state of political turmoil ever since. and there's more...

Heirs of the New World presents to you a new world where traditionalism is in a never-ending conflict with revolutionism.

To be honest, Prussia should be a kingdom, more like being the remnants of the German Empire, and official or main German state, a monarchy in Prussia may be better,So that the monastic nations do not decline, it would also make more sense and that not all the new nations of Germany are just republics, something else, I have an idea for the mod, My idea is that there is a nation in Central America called "State of Los Altos" or just "Los Altos" this nation existed in the years of 1838 and 1840, And that in this universe, somehow it managed to survive and achieved its international autonomy.

There is no reason for the Hohenzollern monarchy to survive. The Kaiser lost support from the military meanwhile the Revolutionaries at home were occupying Berlin, Bavaria, and Saxony. Thus he had to abdicate and go into exile. Not to mention the fact that Prussia's official name is the German Republic, which is equivalent to what the Weimar Republic was in our timeline. Nonetheless, Prussia will get monarchist paths, so don't worry.

The Hanseatic Federation, Baden-Württemberg, Franconia and the Rhenish Republic are rather artificial nations created by the Entente to destabilize Germany and gradually dissolve the idea of Germanism. The Hanseatic Federation, however, still uses "German" for a National Identity and is diplomatically close to Prussia in relations. Before it's independence it used be a British dominion under the British Crown. The House of Hanover was never restored.
