You should have installed Java JDK or JRE i don't remember which one though

 cant open the jar file, it just opens one cmd window for 1 second and then nothing. (i didnt touch anything in settings or in editor data file. I download java but it opens for 1 sec and close

you can and java jdk and jre because jdk can do anything with java, and in jre you can only open jar files because java jre is in java jdk !!!!!
