POLANDjapan 38 Posted January 20 Casus belli gained through sources like events, spies or missions, necessary to start war with other country. There could be casus belis like "rivalry", "subjugation", "conquest", "reconquest" -rivalry: obtained through rivaling a nation, in war like this it wouldn't be possible to take lands or subjugate the enemy but it'd be possible to get money, war reparations, release countries they conquered etc. for less warscore (it's hard to suggest something in here as signing peace in game and options what you can get from peace conferences wasn't shown yet) -subjugation: obtainable only through missions (or any other source which makes it hard to obtain with very low chances) how much warscore it'd cost would depends on country size, if it would normally cost 100%+ with subjugation casus Belli it'll cost 100% max, meaning you can vassalize even the biggest countries in 1 war (they'd be disloyal though and subjugation of them is only thing you could take in peace deal) -conquest: obtained by missions, spies and events. This casus Belli would be the most universal, it'd allow taking provinces you have claims on, provinces where you have no claims would also be obtainable in the peace treaty but it'd damage relations with nearby countries (mainly if they're the same religion as your enemy) and you'd get little debuffs for doing this -reconquest: you get it only if your country has cores that are controlled by another country, for example Byzantium having cores that are controlled by Ottomans have reconquest Casus Belli on the Ottoman Empire PedroCubo
