What about mechanic with revolutions and separations? 

History has many examples of when people were not with new orders in countries, especially during regime changes, such as the French Commune, the Russian civil war, the civil war in Sudan, the Chinese civil war.

 

What about the fact that ideology change will lead to time-based debuffs and such civil wars? I think it will greatly diversify the game and changes in the world if the AIs change their ideologies

 

About separations, what about what some countries will do: separated from another country, as happened with the collapse of Austria-Hungary and the same Russia during the civil war

 

I propose a "stability" mechanic that can interact with the ideology.

If stability is low(wars, the treasury is in the red, there are a lot of loans):

1)When the ideology changes, a civil war will begin and some countries will separated

2)When the ideology changes, some countries will simply separated

3)Without ideology change, some countries will at some point decide to secede every year with any chance (example of Austria-Hungary)

If stability is high (strong economy, no wars, etc):

1)When changing ideology, a civil war will not occur, but there will be debuffs

2)When changing ideology there will be no separations (but there will also be debuffs

 

About separation countries, such countries may have a random ideology and may “inherit” technological development from the country from which they separated
