Advocating for the Inclusion of 4 Major Missing Religions in Age of History 3:

The world is a tapestry woven with threads of diverse cultures, traditions, and belief systems. As we navigate through history, it is crucial to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions of religions such as Jainism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, and irreligion. These major missing religions, each with its unique principles and philosophies, play a significant role in shaping the fabric of human civilization. In the context of Age of History 3, their inclusion would not only enrich the gameplay experience but also serve as a testament to the importance of embracing cultural diversity. I believe these are major world religions, most world religions have been added however I recently noticed that 4 major historically significant ones have been missing and hence should be at least in base game, while more detailed/smaller religions can be added by players themselves hence these 4 major ones 3 of which are present in basically most of paradox's games such as eu4 and the crusader kings series.

The following are the 4

1. Jainism, one of the 3 major religions in the Indian subcontinent present in all of Paradox's games is , is a religion rooted in principles of non-violence, compassion, and self-discipline, has been a guiding force in the ethical and moral development of societies in South Asia. By incorporating Jainism into Age of History 3, players would have the opportunity to explore the profound teachings of ahimsa (non-violence, maybe limited divisions modifier or something or no army at all lol) and aparigraha (non-possessiveness) that form the bedrock of Jain philosophy.

2. Taoism, an ancient Chinese tradition emphasizing harmony with nature, balance, and the concept of the Tao (the way), offers a unique perspective on spirituality and interconnectedness. By introducing Taoism into the game, would provide a uniqueness to the game unlike paradox which chooses to choose Confucianism or Taoism Lukas would be unique and better if he had both

3. Zoroastrianism, one of the world's oldest monotheistic religions, has influenced ethical thought and religious practices in the Middle East for millennia. By including Zoroastrianism in Age of History 3, as its logo is already mistakenly in the game but for Buddhism, religion is also present in every paradox game as its been a historically big religion and also the religion of various Persian empires across history

4. In the modern context, the representation of irreligion as a major missing religion in the game reflects the growing trend of secularism and atheism in contemporary societies. By incorporating irreligion into the gameplay, this would again be a unique and necessary addition because of how certain countries like Estonia and the check Republic are

Bonus: Major variations of paganism, for example Roman, Hellenic, Egyptian religions & also zunits (central asia) would also expand on certain historical regions and timespans such as the roman, Greek empires, and what not which would be better/more unique if they had their own pagan variation religion

The addition of Jainism, Taoism, Zoroastrianism, and irreligion into Age of History 3 is an invitation to players to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of human spirituality, ethics, and belief systems. These major missing religions contribute unique perspectives, values, and cultural insights that expand players' understanding of the complexities of global civilizations past and present and also ways to be better and more unique than paradox games.

In conclusion, the integration of these major missing religions into Age of History 3 is not just about representation; it is about honoring the diversity of human experiences, fostering empathy and understanding, and promoting inclusivity in gaming. By embracing the richness and complexity of religious traditions that have shaped our world, Age of History 3 can provide players with a more immersive, enlightening, and culturally diverse gaming experience that celebrates the mosaic of human belief systems throughout history.

Also if u add Taoism then change the confucion logo to its correct logo attached below and the Ying yang becomes the symbol of taoism as it actaully is!

Also suggestion map mode changes: if u can make the map modes better like not just colors for religion but it actually saying sunni on top of all major sunni regions same thing for other religions they have thei ttiles on top of the map if u switch over to the religion map mode just like countries have text above them in normal poltical view for example that would be great and a improvement to the mapmode and it would be like paradox

Jainism (one of the 3 major religions in India), Zoroastrianism (logo is already in game but incorrectly for buddhism, the Persian empires religion so its a major world religion historically) & Taoism (cuz lets be better than paradox & have both confucianism & taoism) are really major world religions historically and unfortunately are really missing please don't forget these major religions, Lukas cuz they r present in basically all major games of paradox
😕

other forms of paganism can be added later are a bonusus like Hellenic, roman, egyption, zunits & bons of tibet & so can sigificant religions like mormonism in utah for scenrios set in the last few hundred years

please dont forget these 3 (jainism, zoroastrianism & taoism) lukas atleast and have them in the base game since they are main religions yk histoically sigificant

    • Campaign: Small Scenarios
In this topic, share your ideas for Campaign scenarios.

These scenarios focus on a small part of the map, with the rest designated as wasteland.

For example, a scenario of the Reconquista in 1054, where gameplay takes place only on the Iberian Peninsula.

What are your ideas for small historical scenarios?

    • Events - Common events for every civilization in the game
      Hi,
in this topic, I am interested in your ideas for events that can happen for every Civilization in the game.
I'm also interested in Missions for every Civilization.

Here is some example, have more than 10k army, have more than 5000 gold, build 10 buildings, recruit an Advisor, increase tax efficiency 20 times, be largest  producer of some resource in the world, unlock 5 Civilization legacies etc.

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
AoH3 will have different types of land units.

In this topic we will write ideas for new land units.

So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.

Representation of the battlefield in the game.

Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.

Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
