age of civilizations 2 I CAN'T START THE GAME

Hey, so i bought the game just today and i tried to start it but it just won't work, i don't know what's wrong but i click play and nothing happens, i've tried installing it again but nothing i hope i can get some help and finally play the game?

Oh damn, it could be a computer problem, that this one, don't have some things that you need to play the game, like the sources... Do you play any other game on that computer?, it happens to you on any other game?

i don't usually play other games but yeah i used to, hearts of iron 4, smite, league of legends, etc. never had a problem with any of them except for this one. it just won't start.

You can always try the ol' uninstall & then reinstall the game first, before anything

Wait, have you tried starting the game with all other windows closed? That was a problem for me when I tried playing this game on another computer, but I was able to solve it by closing all other windows.
