I try to create a army improvements topic, but in fact I suppose to add an deteriorations for army attack and defence

Hello there  
I suggest improvements in a battle system. 
In this improvements will included many things. 


Climat Factor

First of all. The Simple Climat system. We all know that in the game already is a terrain types. But why they don't reflect on battles? I mean, for example there is a battle in Africa. Army stands in sandy dry terrain. Summer has come and very strong temperature is giving massive debufs on attack, that will a extend battle time and maybe save the defender side. Same thing and for Winter in taiga forest, swamps, and tundra. They will add a massive debuffs on battle. This will encourage a tactic importance. (Do not make a massive winter offensive in tundra this can badly affects on your army). 


Supply

Every province will have supply that depends on terrain, capital distance, roads that are builded from capital to the province and other buildings. 
all Units type will contain a supply use property. for Example 1000 infantry units will use 0.5 supply from province, but 1000 tank units will use 10. if Province have 10 supply capacity, units that is in province will get a attriction debuff, which should cut down the attack and defence posibilities of army. This creates a new balance in battles, which can add more realism and defence posibilities ti the game

Armor: Hard and Soft Attack 

In game we alredy have a armored units. But Armor is not emplemented. Armor is only buff on defence that don't create a real problem for attacker side. I suppose to add a armor value and Hard Attack. 
What is Hard attack? Hard attack is attack value, which implements an apportunity to beat the unit armor
I can demonstrate it in example: There is a battle 1000 Tank Units versus 5000 Infantry. Only for this example Infantry have (10 Soft Attack 2 Hard one, 40 Defence and 2 armor) Tank have (30 soft Attack 15 Hard one, 10 defence and 20 Armor) Infantry simply can't destroy the Tank, because Tank Armor is too strong and infantry hard attack is too low. meanwhile Tank army can beat the Infantry because Infantry don't have strong armor, tank have a massive soft attack, which can beat a infantry defence.

Okay guys, maybe I too much played HOI4. Sorry for this suggestion. I realised that it exactly not be added. 😂

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
