Age of Civilizations II + Cats 1.2 (and updates on this project's future)

soooo it's been a while since I've been here,, age of history III and a remastered version of the second game got released, but I'm not super satisfied with those two,, i feel like both of those try too much and accomplish very little,, so watch me do the same thing!!!

 

I've already posted a version of this mod before,, but TLDR, AoCII+Cats is a personal mod project i have, which adds a bunch of things that i think make the game more engaging; the first version was just very general changes that didn't really touch the game's code, but I've actually worked on a 1.1 and a 1.2, which actually do touch the game's code a bunch.

there's also a changelog on da folder if you want to read it (it's recommended even, bc there's a lot of little changes)

I'm not very satisfied with the state of the mod right now; the game can crash or freeze at seemingly random, and the way i added some features was pretty sloppy.

 

so for 1.3 I'm planning to rebuild the mod from scratch, as well as taking in suggestions for changes and future features :3

 

I'd like to make the mod both android and pc compatible for 1.3, but I'd prolly need some assistance for that..

 

I'd also like to have a true main scenario for future versions, which will probably be 1440, but I'm not super sure yet.
