Map Editor - Add/Edit province in Age of Civilizations 2

If you add new province check continent of this province in map editor, if it is "Ocean" the map will load lower scale of the province background

Does the game needs to be restarted to add new province? YES
You can export only one province from map editor to the "PROV" file.

Change type of Continent in Map Editor in the game of that province, surely it is Ocean and that’s the reason

how I can update the game even if it's updated and that there is always crashe with putting 4270 instead of 4269 ?

if its crashes you probably do something wrong or game didnt update cause it need to work il did 4270 and game didnt crashed after update

mine was working but then i changed the position of the army box and now my game wont load at all

EDIT: i reinstalled it and it works but as soon as i try to move the position of the army box the game crashes and breaks again

I spend all day to do this and I got the same problem, when I change 4270 it's starting to crashed.

anyway if I put 4269 it won't crash but the region remain broke as fuck.

I had the same problem. You need to delete the province 4269 in the data/province folder. It will be created again when you start the game with 4270 provinces in the config.json file

When i check to see how my provinces work in game they all are cluttered around the area, what do i do wrong?

Update them, make sure that they aren't ocean (continent) or sea in game map editor, if it have any connections, reconnect it. (delete all connections and connect them once again 😛)

yay, I can't even use it because I am on a Chromebook which supports ANDROID and not windows. I can't even open the map editor because it requires an app that supports windows. how do I get around this?

I have similar problem like others, when i add the new province file to update folder and then change in config.json from 4269 to 4270, and restart the game, it starts loading and then crashes, somebody help please.
