Countries in the Middle East should be rich in oil, while North American countries should be rich in lumber, for example. The purposes of resources should be for building things, so its not just gold. Some resources should be blocked off until sufficient technology too, you shouldn't be able to mine uranium in the year 350 AD. Another idea I'm interested in are unique buildings. For example Egypt will be able to build pyramids, France will be able to build the Eiffel Tower, US the Washington Monument, et cetera et cetera. These buildings will require the country to have the correct religion and or technology. For example, to build pyramids Egypt will…

New Game Mod Age of History 2 is test hope you guy can join the game so good

Lukasz, I was wondering if you'd consider adding cultures to the game? Perhaps they could have bonuses and penalties for a nation? I just feel like this would be a better way to implement this instead of having the religions affect this stuff. If you saw my other post on religions, I think that that mechanic should focus on population unrest instead of bonuses and penalties. It feels unrealistic to have that for religions. I think culture would better suit this.

Generals can be enabled to ''auto capture'' and you can select which minimum and maximum size of a province / city they are allowed to take over without the player's intervention while he focuses on his economy and other things.

I think that AI should annex occupied provinces in in the following order: provinces that were created as a result of colonization provinces that are not their opponent's core provinces provinces closest to AI's capital the capital of the enemy The capital of the enemy should be possible to annex at the very end. Players should also be able to annex only in that order This will prevent a situation in which, for example, Spain is thrown out of Europe and exists only in the Philippines because because they have colonies there. There were many situations in AoH2, for example, when I was looking for the Republic of Genoa, it turned ou…

In the most recent video, showcasing an awesome new feature, allowing the potential modder to drag and select provinces and applying them to a nation, I and many others have noticed the ideology list in Alpha stage. The amount of ideologies presented is great and they are appropriate but not all. Communism: To begin with, the ideology of 'Communism' stood out to me. Communism by definition is a socio-economic ideology advocating for classless and stateless society (without going in much depth.) This is incredibly important because, Communism is similar to Anarchism in the idea of a stateless society. In the case of German Democratic Republic, it wo…

This is as much a question as it is a suggestion. Will there still be an ability to create custom scenarios. If so than how will ideology work. My idea is Republics: Will be any government that is non monarchical can be broken down into Dictatorial republics Oligarchical Republics Single party Republics (only after researching some kind of society tech that allows parties) Democratic Republics (like USA and most European countries) Theocratic Republics (Like Iran) Monarchies: Absolute Monarchy Authorization Constitutional (The monarch has dictatorial power granted by a constitution think of Napoleon) Dictatorial Constituti…

On AOH 2 China and Russia, Iran and Turkey starting an war on modern world, it should be fixed on AOH 3

This is a small thing, but it would be nice to see all of the rulers that were ruling to your or other civilisation. and if dynasties are going to be in a hame, it would be good to add a dynasty tree, like a family tree. Thank you

The idea is that several civilisations can belong to the same nation. Thus, if one civilisation conquers another of the same nation, its population will not have to be assimilated. You can also add a few features like civilisations of the same nation have better relationships, traditions, as in CK3.

It would be very good if, for example, merchant ships were added. I would also really like all the resources on the map to have some value in trade and have a strong impact on the economy. I think you've already wanted something like this. Thank you for your efforts in creating the game.

The easiest way to add a navy! 1. Increase the battle lines from 3 to 4. -Vanguard -wire -side -support 2.Make production possible in states with ports or sea states 3. you can program to allow(exist) movement only in states with ports or sea states -This will be easier than the naval function of hearth of iron4 4. Gives a debuff to units other than the vanguard in the sea terrain, necessitating the need for a vanguard ex) -95% debuff 5. Addition of a technology tree suitable for the Navy 6.AI does not cross the sea without a vanguard. ------------ With this simple method, even manufacturers can easily create a navy. If there is no navy, the impo…

Is it possible to implement into Age of History 3 as a potential option? I believe it is difficult to do, and it only serves as an aesthetic addition but it is cool. A few games/mods have this, like the failed Grey Eminence project (never came out), Project Alice for EU4 and Gilded Destiny References:

Just wondering do u think that the system of sieges then conquering multiple provinces at the same time is reasltic because it's unlike the last game and unlike eu4, ck2 & hoi4 when u conquer 1 place at a time which ig is more realstic rather than 5 places being conquered at the same time won't this make conquering mid sized and small countries very quick and easy?

Do we know what time periods are going to be implemented in the game/scenario editor? I realize that we can always make our own but I'm wondering what the base game will have. I was kind of disappointed to not see a legionary unit in the tech tree or something else similar to that. I saw hoplites and that makes me think we'll at least get some kind of 'classical time period,' which is good because I am looking forward to playing as the Romans (my favorite civ). Any thoughts guys?

Hey Lukasz, imo, we won't need too much scenario options if game content becomes rich in general. Focus on improving AI, detailing gameplay and game content, richen events, missions and technology tree, make modern and complex war mechanics, increase realism, detail diplomacy. Add special features for every scenario. If you do these, 4 or maybe even 3 scenario for default game would be enough. Players and modders can handle to make other scenarios. You don't need to focus on increasing scenarios. You focus on detailing scenarios and game in general. Default scenarios i would like to see: 1440 (for eu4) modern world, WW2 (for hoi4) and maybe 1836 victorian era (f…

For example we have many diferent armies Some is tank army other is an infantry. for better distinction I suppose to add colours for armies, which will give to player understanding who is who. It can be inplemented as army groups. Each group will has own colour, icon or both. Army groups might also lead by fielmarshal or country leader. Army groups should have limit for armies because this will gave a debuffs. And perhaps each army group might have own batte tactic, which already is in game

Look, I think that the game has some nice new ideas and stuff like laws and reforms sounds cool and everything but some things like unions, ultimatums, and other stuff not being shown up is beyond ridiculous and completely unrealistic as stuff like unions is an important thing and the fact that's not being shown up in a strategy game is just shit. At this point, I think that most people in the fandom are just hoping for Aoh3 to be much more realistic than its predecessors so stuff like random bonuses, no personal unions, and as of now a far too simplistic colonization style which is still having new ideas are pretty meh, as of now my opinion for this game has gone from ex…

For example if you are playing as the ottomans, there should be missions that give cores to the beyliks. There should be a mission that gives bonuses and changes the capital after you conquer Constantinople. Or If i'm playing as england I should be able to get war goals on scotland and feance via mission trees. These are just some examples, but there should be mission trees.

It seems to me that it would still be better to create naval forces.

Steam achievements: pros - for some, this will be an argument for purchasing a license, as well as a pleasant bonus. Lukaz, if you see this post, then we ourselves (the community) can come up with achievements and their essence, just do it! And guys If you are interested, you can send your ideas for achievements right here, maybe Lukaz will notice it 🙂

There will be quality of life in AOH3?

I suggest adding a tab where you can make special military groups. I've included an example picture. Additionally, I propose implementing a limit for groups to prevent game spam. In strategy games, I often lose troop organization, leading to chaotic invasions with non-optimal units. To enhance organization, consider adding a tab for making special groups. For instance, before going to war with Prussia, you could make specific groups for attacking and securing your land. An extra feature could involve making groups for political issues, such as rebel hunting or anti-rebel groups, where your military tackles rebels trying to establish a state in your country. Fur…

Hello, so I saw that the HRE system in AOC2 is very... poorly made to say at least. Being an emperor/elector basically provides no features, no buffs and the empire ultimately serves as a placeholder. To fix this I have came with a few ideas on how to make empire slightly more "attractive"; Level of recognition of Imperial Authority; basically depending on Emperor's strenght, decisions, events and other factors. All HRE members, excluding emperor will have a level of acceptance and recognition towards the imperial rule. The level of recognition would be affected by; Emperor's strenght; the strenght of emperor compared to the rest of Holy Roman Empire, not only his…

Rulers have characteristics that help or hinder you playing, can born, die, marry. If ideology of civilisation is monarchy, rulers can inherit the throne. One ruler can sit on the throne of several monarchies. Ruler can belong to a dynasty. Dynasties can spreads to the other monarchies and lose them. In short, CK3 system.
