Story time: Death of russian modding community

      The russian community was once one of the main communities on the forums however things change, Today I will tell you all the tale of the slow death of the Russian modding community, From reich posting addon to various scandals and dead over ambitious mods this is the tale of the russian community.

   Chapter 1: Reich creating addon

Sometime in 2019 a russian user by the name  of reich posted a topic in mods called "Addon" a mod that upgrades aoh2 everybody thought the mod would die, They were wrong the mod went on to become one of the most downloaded aoh2 mods of all time the russian community started with this.

 

    Chapter 2: the peak

After addon+'s game changing formables, scenarios, and mechannics were revealed to the public the russian community boomed, This is when mods like bloody europe were created, the vk group grew and the russians were even able to compete with the turks!

   Chapter 3: downfall, cyka, and russian scandals

     After addon died down and conquerors 2 came the russian community began declining, Many scandals happened, modders lied about editing the code, Addon and bloody europe died, Reich assigned IVR 17 to help revive addon, But being the selfish he is Ivr 17 would never share addon 2.0 with a single non-russian claiming the mod would be released in a few months, but it never was and the mod just strated dying and vanishing from the spotlight, Yesterday a troll posted a april fools claiming addon's dev has died, even though the dev didn't die the but mod did, we are still seeing addon 2.0 die as of the time this post was written.

The Russian community completly dominated in mods imo until early/middle 2020 when AoC2Modding started to make very good mods aswell.
