age of civilizations 1 i can't start AoC 1 map in AoC 2 game, how to fix it?

when i clean up age of civilizations 2 of all the junk i downloaded from mod disguising as scenario (Medieval age Scenarios, go figure)

i wanted to play age of civilizations 1 map, i enter it, it all easy and simple, till i can't start the game.

whenever i click on "new game", it brought me back to the main menu.

how to fix it?
