How would colonialism work in this game? When you set up a colony, will the colony be directly run by you, or will it be a separate civ like in the WW2 scenario video?

Colonialism works by enlisting a special unit type called 'Settlers' which have a unique purpose of conquering the 'wasteland' provinces, which get directly integrated into your territory with no autonomy.
