Is it somehow possible to add or edit provinces in Earth14k? It's possible in Age of History 3, but map in aoh3 is not compatible with Aoh2:DE.

Today I have come in colaboration with the AoH2 TNO modder Aren to report a few issues we have come across in AoH2:de. This will be a short report with the issues attached below; > Decisions taken in global events do not seem to get stored properly. If I reload the game then any event with Decision Taken for global events doesnt work but it works if recipient was a normal country (unlike in AoH2 where it broke it for all) > Trigger another event doesnt seem to work if you try to trigger global events > Events set at "no date" seem to run on the first turn, instead of not running at all > The latest update seems to have broken event template…

Hello @Łukasz Jakowski, hope your day goes wonderful. I've noticed that AOH2:DE custom event editor in scenario editor lacks the event outcome for changing the stability of provinces or civilizations. There's only options to modify happiness and to assimilate provinces, but I would really like to see an option to change province stability by percent. I hope you'll add it someday, but take your time. Thank you.

Basically when you set an event to "no date" for some reason the event fires in 1936, even though it should not fire at all

this post will be very brief, pretty much, alot of people got upset at lukasz for banning zanoni by copyright striking his account, zanoni and his community are pretty much a degenerate unmoderated cesspool of neo nazis despite he himself being jewish, their discord servers are completely unmoderated pretty much bacterial cultures for 4chan chuds to post the most abhorrent thing possible and spam slurs, but because these discords are a circlejerk of autistic middle schoolers, who also make a big part of the community outside these forums, they just dogpile on anyone who doesnt like their crap or who calls out zanoni's abhorrent and corny edgy statements about things like …

I've made a scenario and uploaded it to the steam workshop, but now whenever I try to update the scenario (new events, changed borders, etc), they don't save... Anyone know how to fix this?

Literally don't know why this happens, but it's very annoying. Here, the AI should have been defending French territory, but instead it keeps 90% of its army in London, which doesn’t even have a port. This army hasn't been used at all for over 50 turns I saw the same thing when I was playing as Germany and had Spain as an ally. Spain simply kept its entire army in the capital and didn’t help in the war, which is why I lost. Perhaps the reason is that the AI fails to recognise the size of this army and prioritises actions on the active frontline, using up all its movement points. Either way, it needs to deploy this army in battles rather than leaving it idl…

I have no idea if this is the place to say that, but... This game is great. Fr, I love it. I was saying that it will be cash grab with ai slop ahh graphics, but no. This is really fun to play. There are of course some problems like happiness randomly going down even with cores and minimal taxes, but it is still playable. The only problem I have is modding on mobile. I understand that Łukasz might not like his game to be de facto downloadable for free (like it was with og AoH2), but come on, we freaking living in the great pirate era started by big companies with unbelievable high pr- I MEAN, by Gold d. Roger with telling the world that one piece is real. …

I imported a map of my mod and it adds more provinces. Then after importing it and checking some other things I decided to test and when I scroll some strange lines appear, probably from provinces because when I touch x province it shows yellow like if it was selected. Here another example in the map. Another close-up view. And sometimes shows 2 different lines. Why does this happen?

The following problem has arisen: the game's root folder contains a folder responsible for settings (font size, color, province name size, etc.). When moving it to the mod's root folder, the settings now in the mod are not applied to the game. Instead, the game continues to apply its own settings. Is it even possible to use them in the mod, or is it simply not possible?

Lukasz, if this isn't a bug, please replace the game logo icon with your own modification, because it doesn't look very good. And if this is a bug, please fix it 😞@Łukasz Jakowski

i dont know if this is an intentional placeholder thing, or if this is a bug and something lukasz missed, but religion pretty much does not function, all provinces auto convert to your religion once you even just occupy them, there's also no option to convert religion of province, for some reason religion in aoh2de due to this bug is more like map painting, please fix this @Łukasz Jakowski

Hi I wanted to add descriptions to the new formables on my map, but I can’t seem to do it. I’ve made sure path to the translation file is set to <mod>/languages/formable/bundle.properties, but it’s still not working. The second issue is that formables aren’t displayed if their tag matches that of the claiming civilization. Here’s an example: I added a USSR formable for Russia, but it doesn’t appear. Because of this, I’m missing out on lots of interesting formables 😞 This can only be fixed by adding a separate civilisation specifically for the formable, but I’d really like to avoid that if possible. If there’s any other way, please let me…

Hi! I was fixing bugs after importing my mod from AoH2 to DE, and I'm now working in leaders, but for some reason they don't appear. And I have the leader in the files and in the editor so, what's happening? (ignore the "Occupied the Power" thing) And yeah the civ is correctly set to the scenario civ, in this case the USA. Don't know if it has to be something with the Start Year or End Year, but I saw USGW and their leaders don't have it and still works. Can someone help me?

@Łukasz Jakowski Events will now be stored as JSON files, with each event in its own file, making it possible to edit or create events in Notepad if needed. The game will still load events from the old event system if there are no events in the JSON files or if loading from JSON files is disabled. When I saw this news, I was extremely happy, but when the game was released and I had the opportunity to test these features, I was disappointed to see this bug. I've tried deleting the file and all sorts of other tricks with it, but it still doesn't work. https://ibb.co/Q7VRLsyX

The trigger "occupied provinces" and "controls provinces" never fires. The "have army" trigger also works incorrectly and is triggered even when the condition is not met

@Łukasz Jakowski Describing problem: So the first problem is If i make new civilization by event (for instance Bourbon Spain from Habsburg Spain) and I will create mission for this Bourbon Spain, this mission will not show up. And the second problem: If i make a mission for instance for England and i will change to the Great Britain this mission will still be even if i'm Great Britain and its fine. But if i will have all conditions to do this mission, it will simply do itself. Pop up is not showing but the mission is complete even if i didn't do anything. Like i can do this mission like for 1 turn, but then it's completed even if i didn't click t…

@Łukasz Jakowski Why missions dont work when i play as a country (i cant complete them even if i did conditions needed for the mission) but they work when i'm spectating and AI can normally do these missions and complete them?

When AOH2DE came out, I noticed that the game had a real population scenario, but after trying to explore and adjust the development sliders, I saw that the population was disappearing somewhere. Even though I developed the entire China to 100%, the population didn't increase; on the contrary, it decreased from 1.4 billion to just 400 million. What's the reason for this? Can you teach me how to set up a realistic population?

@Łukasz Jakowski @Łukasz Jakowski Hello! I am trying to port my mod to AOH2DE, and I have encountered a problem that I cannot solve, specifically an issue with the translation files. So, I have a mod folder, and inside it, there's a file named "language." Everything is completely fine with these files, but for some reason, the game thinks this file doesn't exist and uses the default file from the game. However, if I load the mod into the vanilla AOH2DE, it shows up there! I also checked the "Age_of_Civilizations" files, and everything is there; I copied from the original file, but for some reason, the game still doesn't recognize the translation. I downloa…

Hello, I have a problem in Age of History 2 Definitive Edition with the visibility of armies and province names on the map. At the default zoom level, these elements are not shown, and they only appear once the map is zoomed in very closely. In my case, they become visible only when the zoom scale reaches 1.0, which feels too close for normal gameplay. I would like armies and province names to appear earlier, at a more zoomed-out level, so the map is easier to read without needing to zoom in so much. If anyone knows which setting, file, or value controls this behavior in AoH2 DE, I would really appreciate the help.

Well, the game is nice, AI is actually harder to beat... but it appears that after the game loads a mod for the first time, it no longer loads past 99%... it is pretty frustrating, and wish this could be fixed. I have no clue why this happens, but I think the game somehow mixes up the assets after the first load?

I want to do it from files, not through "add civilizations" it's far slower to do so for my mod, but the new system is very confusing, civ info when I add it doesn't add the name of the new civ I made, which confuses me, how to I make civs in Civilizations file and CivilizationInformations file connect, coz I want to make a new faction ie Goofy Republic, I make goofy by adding new civ in the civilizations thingy, then I look in files, goofy is there, then I add it to CivilizationINformations, it doesn't connect, I must be missing something
