Territory Visuals and Vassals

I have a few questions regarding feudal societies/government

Will vassals be shown as part of your territory when you zoom out? 

Are we able to form a new country even if the required territories are my vassals? (I really love doing these in the game where I form a civ and free countries as my vassals and match the colors with mine. I consider it as my game ending)

1. The video shows that only on the icons of the scenario, vassal countries do not have the color of the owner’s country, but when moving away from the map, the colors of the vassals are exactly the same as those of the owning country
2. He hasn’t added this option yet, but I think it won’t be possible to form a country with vassals
