Choosing scenerio (to edit or to play) goes back to main menu

This only started recently. I've already tried verifying file integrity, and uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

i've had this, it means that your game hascorrupted and you need to re-install it

I've already tried it before, and I just did it again, it's not working.
