I combined that eu4 mods codes with the be2 codes and I ended up getting a early version of the new bloody europe update without the nukes of course, but I really think the defense and attack mechanic was meant for middle Ages combat not modern warfare so they should probably overhaul how powerful a armies attack and defense are judging by thier tech
