  3. Can you release yourself as a vassal?

    In other words, if im playing as the Russian empire and want to simulate the rise of the Bolsheviks, can I release the Soviet Union as a vassal and declare war on it? so can a nation release itself as a vassal (to simulate civil wars).

    How does it exactly work? We know and have seen that several cities like Gdansk and Istanbul get new name when controlled by Germany and Byzantium respectively, we also know about this mechanic from old thread. But how to make it yourself? How to bind name to proper country. Does name depend on Civ tag? Group?
