In the preview for the 1836 scenario on Steam, I noticed that the borders for Africa weirdly follow modern borders, despite the fact that the modern borders werent drawn until late 19th century / early 20th century. What happened?

Why do we have to choose 3 rivals at the start of the game?

title, alot of the good event outcomes are missing, theres so many new event triggers but it feels like the outcomes are lacking

The game DOESN'T need to be like a paradox game. Yes, it is disappointing when features that are similar to paradox games won't or can't be added, but it's a game made by one guy, not an entire development team with thousands of dollars poured into it. Too many people are bugging Lukas to add features that would make it a lite paradox game, which doesn't need to happen. If he allows us to modify the games code for mods, then we the community can add those features into the game. The game should feel like a passion project made by a one man army.
