The age of discovery scenario in this game fascinates me. I believe it is the only official scenario in the entire AOC franchise to be literally broken. The nations of Oirat, Mughal Empire, and Mysore do not appear on the map at all at the start, but can be released as vassals from ICELAND for some reason. I got curious as to when this scenario takes place as well, since there is no start dates or years in general in AOC1. I used the existence of New Netherland, Dutch Brazil, Russian control of the Okhotsk region, the existence of the southern Ming, and the founding dates of some colonial era cities to determine that this scenario takes place between 1662 and September 1664. -

I really thought AoH3 would keep the core gameplay of AoH2, but many features are missing and now you have to use mods to get them back. So, I'm glad a definitive edition of AoH2 is planned, even if the Age of History series doesn't appeal to me as much anymore. In any case, congratulations on the work done on this tool; it's thanks to projects like this that the community keeps the game alive. -
Is there a SINGLE person on this Earth who knows how to mod this game.
