Multiplayer and how it should work

I think that adding multiplayer to the game would make the game age better and it would bring more people to it(I've already convinced 3 of my friends to buy the game after mp is added)

As for how it works:
*Everyone can create a lobby up to 8 or 10 players and at the start everyone has 30 secs to choose their civ and the scenario was decided by the lobby maker so they have to choose their civs like you wouls choose in in singleplayer but if a civ is chosen you have to choose someone else. P. S. You can see the civs of all players and the civs that are unpicked will be A. I. 
*Make it so that every 10 or 5 seconds a turn passes so that the players get income faster while still having time to take care of the military, economy etc
*The winning condition is either by an alliance(alliance with the strongest members wins when the 30, 45, 60 mins timer runs out) or if you are the strongest civ by the end. P. S. Lobby leader decides how long the match will be while creating it and he chooses if the win condition is by the strongest player or alliance. 
*There will be an accept/decline system for alliances, trades, etc like in sg

Maybe if when one person has finished doing what they new to do there could be a,'ready,' button and once about 80/90% of people in the lobby pressed it the turn would change to counter people who just want to waste time

There would be a lot of wasted time, turn should pass automatically

Remember in AOC1 where we had a turn list, deciding who went first, maybe the same thing could be implemented, so everyone does their turns at the same time , them according to the turn list the players went in order.

5-10 minutes!? That is too much, first if all you need income and you need to gain it at a steady rate to do anything, even 30 seconds is too much

You have to deal with it sadly , otherwise there is no way you can play multiplayer

Edit: But if 70% of the players ended turn the turn would end, well I don't know

You send the request and they can accept/decline tge next turn

    • Land units - Ideas AoH3
      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.

       
    • Age of History 3 - Buildings ideas
      Your ideas can become part of the game, in this topic we will write ideas for new buildings in Age of History 3.

       

      The buildings will be grouped into four categories:

      1. Administration

      2. Military

      3. Economy

      4. Unique capital buildings - These powerful buildings provide bonuses for the local province or for all provinces of your Civilization

       

      All of the buildings can be upgraded, here is example:

      Library -> University -> Academy

      Each building costs differently and gives different bonuses.

       

       

      This is what your building idea post should look like, example

       

      Building Group: Administration

      Name: Tax Office

      Cost: 60 Gold

      Construction Time: 90 Days

      Maintenance Cost: 0.2 gold per month

      The name of the technology that unlocks this building (Optional)

      And write here what bonuses this building provides. Example:

      Bonuses:

      Local Tax Efficiency: +10%

      Manpower per month: +25

       

      The same goes for building upgrades.

       

      The most important thing with new building ideas is to not stick to the old game, get creative and offer new bonuses not available in Age of History 2, and maybe new things and mechanics will be added to the game
