I have been having issues installing. Every time I delete the AoC2 files and then replace all of it with the TNO mod files, it will not start and it will always make steam update the game back to vanilla AoC2. What am I doing wrong?

technically, Aktau still exists but now only available in the aftermath of the collapse of Taboritsky's Russia, and with a new name, and became like some sort of Kazakh Omsk

Make sure you have placed all the folders you got after extraction in the corresponding places and ignore or delete the exe since it doesn't work.

In russian kaiserreich port all leaders changing are made by forming nation, and events for country's with changed leader are working correctly

So I saw a comment on a video reviewing the mod and after analyzing what I got wrong, I found that the assets folder holds game, map, etc. so I was being dumb enough putting assets into the files instead of going into assets and replacing from there. So the mod works and I really like how well you put your time and effort into making it. I do have questions for future updates though, will there be more events and or formable nations? Like if you had a Taboritsky event make a Alexei II pop out of nowhere due to a decision chosen or something like that. I also noticed that barely any of the AI will decide to invade its neighbors in the Russian warlord states, thus no Russian restoration competition/Russia existing in the game unless a player restores Russia. I also checked to see that some countries in the Russian warlords are missing formables, like Vyatka or Chita. This mod overall has great potential for AoH2. I wish you the best of luck.

AoH2 TNO- 1.0.3

USA and Tomsk will have an election event to allow them to choose one of four leaders.

RFK- USA and Modernists- Tomsk will have new events based on their focus tree. (USA has over 50 and Tomsk has around 15)

Russian unification wars have received changes for balancing. All Russian unifiers will have either a formable civ or an event which changes their name and flag when they unify their region.

Sverdlvosk can switch to either Batov or Yeltsin after regional unfortunately and Khrushchev can come into power in Tyumen after regional unification as well

Some Russian warlords who win often have been given events for super regional unification

SAW events have received some changes to allow for a partial victory

Germany will now try to get their Eastern European RKs back

Some minor changes like PRC and Mengjiang will go to war and RK Ostland won’t remain shattered if the government loses

The UI has received some changes

AI puppets won’t be able to declare independence without events (Android)

City names changed

New wonders added including Volkshalle and Gibraltar Dam

(Thanks to startfruit on discord for helping with the last two and Mussolini-64 for help with the wonder images)

I installed the new update and I do have a question. There are two scenarios seemingly identical to each other starting in 1 January of 1962. Which one is the correct one?

      Welcome Back Gennosen!
      Its been a while since the first update of the mod so i decided to update yall on what im currently working on and i must tell yall that i have some pretty cool stuff prepared. So without further ado, lets check out the change log for this years changes to the mod.

      Name change
      As you can see the name of the mod has been changed from "Eurasian Madness | What if germany won WW2? |" to in my opinion cooler sounding "Fires of Eurasia | A very diffirent take on the history of the 20th century |" or FoE for short.
      Map related changes
      1. I changed the background of the map to be entirely black. It gives the map this TNO-ish vibe to it.

      2. Changed a bunch of city names and working on changing more of them
      Border changes
      the west african states have been merged into two entities: The 4th french republic and the central saharan republic to stray further from the mod looking like a walmart copy of TNO

      Reworking the russian warlord states.

      Asia has been reworked to look more like the war there ended in a stalemate and not in japanese domination.

      Brazil doseant look like hungary after the treaty of trianon anymore, although the puppet states of falagnist bolivia and paraguay remain

       
      New ideologies
      I added a couple of new ideologies including stuff like despotism, diffirent kinds of democracy, communism, 3 types of nazi related ideolgies and an SS aristocracy ideology. For now thats all of them but im palnning on adding more and maby even releasing them as a seperate mod called ideologies+ or something. I sadly had no better option than to use hoi4 icons for these ideologies and i think i might stick to them until i find someone who could make some icons for me

      Better portraits
      Allright i have to admit that i tottaly copied the style of hoi4 leader portraits and put them in my mod, but for my defence i made them black and white so they kinda stick out??? Idk but they look cool and i made almost 200 of them by now. Heres some of my favourites:

      And thats about it for now. The release date still is predicted on the end of 2022 unless there will be some dificulties with stuff like school and such. Most of the custom portraits and nations are done so soon i will start working on events and actually progressing the game from 1954. Also im thinking about making a DC server for this mod where yall can talk about it and leave your sugestions and so on. I would really apreaciate it, if you would spreat word about this mod since it has a bunch of potential that i will definatly work on. for now thats it, stay safe and good night.

      Note 3 : sieg edition and sieg redux + only support Russian language, but addon+ 1.4.1 supports both English and Russian languages.
       
      Note 4 : These mods only added codes of bloody europe 2 to already existed mods of addon+, sieg edition, sieg redux, these new mods do not have any new province.
       
      Note 5 : combined version of sieg redux is the called sieg redux + (it is also called addon 3.0 by Russian community) 
       
      Note 6 : sieg redux + is only in Russian language but thanks to domb (a member of Website) we have the English language version of sieg redux +, but there Wil be no city names. 
       
      Bloody europe 2 changed the codes of the game and make the game so much better, when 1.1.3 version of the mod released, a channel in VK decided to combine the codes of bloody europe 2 with some other mods, these mods include : addon+ 1.4.1, sieg edition, sieg redux (there were also some other mods which deleted by channel, these are the only survived).
       
      the new mechanics are : capitulation system, you can invest much more money on economy and development level (and some times you can invest all of your money on economy and development level) , when you playing on sandbox mod (or God mod) you get 99,999,999 money and 999.9 movement points, and other bloody europe 2 stuff.
