The system of vassal in aoh2 is bad reasons:

-vassal won't join master's alliance/faction

-vassal will oftenly rebel against its master

(My reasons may be bad)

Heres the things aoh3 should add:

-vassal/puppet will give its master resources

-vassal/puppet will join master's alliance/faction automatically

Vassals also need "levels" (or something) example:

- Dominion

-colony

-provisional government

-puppet

-Integrated Puppet

Or more..

Vassals/puppets can be independent by joining wars, bigger army than master and more

vassals/puppets can be annexed by master

(After countries getting puppeted they have their own unique flags and names)

(Btw puppet/vassal will have the same ideology with master)

(Vassal can gain independence by increasing its autonomy, if the master don't let them gain their independence there will be a war)

That's how it should be. The vassal enters into hostile associations against the overlord and, together with other vassals, is separated (gains independence (or whatever he fought for)) upon victory.

Sometimes The vassal are too weak to rebel against its overlord makes the entire thing just like an ant vs human

The fact is that there are many vassals, they even fight among themselves, but they are obliged to pay a certain amount of money from their sum every month. And yes, the vassal may not be the only one who rebels, because he is not the only one who may be dissatisfied with his ruler, and often vassals join factions because they were asked

I think this should be measured with the power of your nation, the stronger your nation, the less likely your vassal is to rebel.

No, in any case, if the overlord wants him to have more power than the vassals, then the vassals may be unhappy with this.
In addition, many uprisings occur to separate a province with a culture different from the culture of the state. Only at later stages (in modern times and after) can there be several cultures legalized at once in the state.

But if there were many revolts the game would be boring, don't you think? There must be a balance to this

Yes, that's the point. Such games teach conservatism and that it is better not to change anything and everything will be as it is, so that dissatisfied people will rebel again.
