Age of World War 2 - Age of History 2 Mod

The beta's status: 62,5% completed

FEATURES:

  • Events ~(75% completed)
  • Better AI (~90% completed)
  • Music (~40% completed)
  • Own, better looking Interface (~70% completed)
  • Images (~0% completed)
  • Map (100% completed)

Plans for the future:

  • More events
  • Improved graphics
  • New scenarios
  • Other

 

ATTENTION! I don't recommend you to play with the following countries: 

  • Yugoslavia
  • Czechoslovakia
  • Austria
  • Albania
  • Lithuania
  • Latvia
  • Estonia
  • Spain

Update log:

Current status: ~80 % completed

What changed since the beta?

  • Removed rebellions
  • Added new leader pictures for the most important countries
  • Added new events
  • Added more music
  • Improved AI
  • Fixed bugs (After the Molotov-Ribbentropp pact German peace treaty overwrites the event fixed by not directly ceding Eastern-Poland to Soviets, only in next round.)
  • Added new icons
  • Added new flags

Yes, I tried to stabilize the game with non-aggression pacts, relations, so there should be less strange wars. I also set cores to countries (for example the invasion of Poland, no matter which country's armies are larger, all provinces will be occupied by Germany, same with the Benelux, France and Soviet Union). More will be added later, because I have a lot of things to do irl.

What is the point when second world war exists?

I was playing hungary during a war with yugoslavia, then germany called me to a war against poland, but I wasn't knowing that I was allied to germany in the middle of the game LoL.

 

 

Please put a event to hungary when the germans want to ally with them, that way I can do not ally germany.

      Here is some example, have more than 10k army, have more than 5000 gold, build 10 buildings, recruit an Advisor, increase tax efficiency 20 times, be largest  producer of some resource in the world, unlock 5 Civilization legacies etc.

      Land units - Ideas AoH3

      AoH3 will have different types of land units.

      In this topic we will write ideas for new land units. 

       

      So the AoH 3 will have new battle system.


      Representation of the battlefield in the game.


      Land units will be grouped into 3 types. Each unit will have a different recruitment cost, attack, defense, movement speed and upkeep.

      Groups determine the placement of units on the battlefield.


       

      Each unit can be unlocked by researching technology and then upgraded.

       

      Here is the current list of units with upgrades:

      First line:

      Warrior -> Light Footmen -> Heavy Infantry -> Infantry -> Line Infantry -> Modern Infantry

      Hoplites -> Spearmen -> Pikeman -> Elite Pikeman -> Musketeer -> Riflemen -> Mechanized Infantry -> Modern Mechanized Infantry

      First line side:

      Horseman -> Elite Horseman -> Cavalry -> Tank -> Modern Tank

      Second line:

      Archer -> Bowmen -> Crossbowman -> Elite Crossbowman

      Canon -> Field Cannon -> Artillery -> Modern Artillery

      Early Airplane -> Airplane -> Modern Airplane

       

      This is a very early version, so maybe something should be changed?

      Or maybe an idea for a new type of unit with upgrades? I'm waiting for your suggestions.
