The Q-Bam project is an AoH2 mod based on the old n' shitty Rise of the Phoenix. It adds a new world map based on the Q-Bam resource you can find on the internet. It's main purpose is to be an "open-sourced" map as an alternative to vanilla so you can modify it to your heart's desire, as well as becoming a base map for another future projects.
[ Main Features ]

- Borrowed the Uwut Engine (v1.7.2/Latest as of May 5 2024)

- Releasing all the unreleased RotP content.
- Detailed enough scenarios.
- Lots of new and totally not copyrighted music.
- Around 60 new ideologies that you can't switch to until getting past 2085.
- New color pallete
- Open sourced playable Q-Bam, everyone can modify the map.

  • If it crashes, boot up the game again, if it still does 2 or 3 times; report it.
  • Report bugs at the forum page only, thanks
  • Can't fix the army boxes' issues, as the engine will crash.
  • Don't suggest provinces, they won't be added right now.
  • Border bugs can be fixed, and there are others that can not, it depends on the case. (Sea borders are a hell of a problem to debug on lmao)
  • Not fixing issues on the Vanilla+ map. It's kinda deprecated.
  • Yeah, you can use this map for future mods. Credit is optional but always appreciated
  • The scenarios' boundaries are mostly based on the Omniatlas site, the 8K-BAM's resource and one than another map on the internet.
  • If you are questioning why there's a literal 4974x2519 empty space at the right side of the map... well, it's for bug fixing since apparently there's a 1 pixel cut if we merge the _L and _R maps respectively. It may be only my problem; though.
  • There are some backgrounds to choose, incase you want a lighter or darker theme for the map.
  • RC1's City map source (click me to see 400 city sources)

lil' small update post, patches coming for the release candidate 2.

  • + added a missing island in southern finland
  • * fixed ireland at the kaiserreich scenario, the brits never owned northern ireland.
  • * fixed the bialystok borders in poland-belarus
  • * turkey's regime has been changed in 1936, to be more like hoi4? (i guess)
  • * samara's location has been fixed, it's no longer at the west of the volga
  • * italy's regime in 1914 is no longer "fascism" (how did i let that slide? ☠)
  • - removed finland in 1914, as it's autonomy has been lost around 1908

that's all for today. the plan is finishing the city map and then releasing RC2.

set the fog of war to "classic" (this is an issue from vanilla aoh2, and no mod has fixed that as far as i know)

below you'll see two things.

1. (important) some progress in the cities, i began with russia as it is a massive country, and so i will cover a big chunk of provinces.
2. (not that important) some redesign of an old flag that looked like well... (☠)

El mod es muy bueno, uno de los mejores que he visto (está en mi top 10) lo que no me gustó es el mapa, me explico, el hecho de que sea en forma de mapa mundial no me gustó. Yo un poco, pero el resto es 10/10 Una pregunta: ¿darán una "ocupación" de las islas Spratly o las dejarán como país?                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    PD: the map is brutal, I loved that quality of details, keep up the great work friend

y para responder tu pregunta; no, me da un poco de hueva hacer como 20 provincias para las spratlys. asi que por el momento las dejare asi.

cause' mods.su does link back to the forums page, so... issue i gotta check, basically. i need to check that detail before messing around.

alright, topic reached 1k views.

meanwhile, i did the mandatory tno scenario that any generic mod should have.


so, let's see how much did i progress in the russian cities.

  • anything at the west volga is finished.
  • some oblasts at the east of the volga are done
  • siberia only has the capital cities.
  • konigsberg is empty.

My advice is to make an alternative scenario with its own alternative events specific to your mod, your bg and ui are very suitable for this.

even though, on the aoh2 map bundled with the mod, there goes 4830.

haré esta pregunta en español porque me da pereza traducirlo al inglés.

 

tengo el Uwut engine original y me gustaría tener el mapa sin todos los mods adicionales que trae este mod (básicamente me gustaría tener el mapa en modo vanilla, porque con muchos mods el juego se lagea mucho para mi pc y tarda mas en cargar) lo que si me encanta es que este hubiera sido si hubiera terminado mi versión de Ultimate Map, la gente estaría contenta, pero claro no pude cavarlo yo solo y no pude terminarlo a parte que posee muchas fronteras precisas y eso me encanta del mod

por el momento tendrías que eliminar todos los escenarios y dejar el de prueba para jugar el mapa en "vanilla".
o probablemente remplazar el "test" que viene con el test del mapa "template" (el vacío)
pero aun asi habría que hacer los escenarios desde cero. (ya que hay como bastantes civilizaciones custom) 

y eventualmente llegare a hacer los tipos de terreno (una vez termine las ciudades), los cuales tambien tendrán sus cosas "no-vanilla".

podría decir que no fue diseñado para vanilla, xd.
