Age of Civilizations is a game that focuses on grand strategy, politics and other government driven elements. Łukasz Jakowski however, included something in the game that is rare in other grand strategy games. Customization. Customizing civilizations, leaders, maps, Whole scenarios, events in these scenarios, etc, etc...

This, i think is a very good thing. The only bad thing about this, is that the game focuses more on the custom creative aspect than the realistic grand strategy one. This mod is going to be an overhaul for both these things.

Unfortunately, a mod with the same goals named Addon+ is being created right now. My mod is still in a Debug alpha phase, and i can't release it in a state like this.

This mod will include the following list of things:

 

Translated Loading Screens

Scenarios:
The Great War (World War I) With historical events, leaders and custom civilizations, starting in 1st of January, 1914. (I've started doing it, The events are halfway done!)

Overhauling the World War II Scenario in the following ways:
Adding historical events with descisions.

Setting an other start time for the Scenario for better readiness.

Giving More corresponding bonuses to leaders given by their personality.

Scenario "Die Folge" (The aftermath) happening right after the first world war, (Yes, believe it or not, lots of stuff happened after the first world war) containing a variety of events.

Scenario "A Modern Mona Lisa" Containing the events of mostly Hitler taking control over germany (1920-1930). If you want to play as a country, that is falling apart at the moment, this is for you.

A Cold War Scenario is also being made, but i'm not promising anything for this one.

Backgrounds:

Including a large variety of backgrounds, from a realistic one with every little mountain on earth, to a low resolution one for computers that can't handle the mod that good.

Government, ideologies:

From the leftist Communism the the Extreme right Fascism there are an estimate of ~15 ideologies being made right now including governments that are only avalible on 1 country in real life, or none anymore such as Patriotism (Hungary) Democratic Republic, Deposit Monarchy, so on and so forth. Planning on creating an election system for democratic countries just like in Hearts of Iron IV.

Languages:

Yes, every Scenario, Custom Leader, Loading screen and such will be translated into other*1 languages.

Custom Maps:

Custom Maps will be added to the mod, with custom scenarios, so people can create something new on a new map. Current map plans include Hungary, Austria, Germany, Washington, Nagykanizsa, Hungary, Budapest, Hungary, The map of Graz and Pangea.

Leaders:

Of course, if we make scenarios, we need to make sure, that we have good leaders for each scenario. From a Revolutionary Gavrillo Princip to an alternative timeline Franz Ferdinand, there will be as much leaders as possible.

Systems:

There will be lots of new stuff in the game, as we just decompiled it. These new system include:

More types of Vassals (Dominion, Colony, Crown Colony, State, Soviet Socialist State, etc, etc...)

Democratic elections all four years, if the country is: Democratic, Republic, City State, Patriotism

Ideological support system (See: hearts of iron 4) as you do your actions

Changing the values of terrains, planning before war nescessary

Adding seasons, each one having it's own effects on attacks, income and happiness

Few questions for the mod:

Will Religion be a thing or not? Since it was scrapped and not added to the final game.

Will there be more provinces, or redrawn provinces?

Will there be scenarios for each century, from 1000 AD? (1000, 1100 etc.)

If you are able to, can you add more buildings? (not counting on that)

Will you add more terrain?

Will you add more the 4 (maybe, 5) other continents to the game? (Lemuria, Doggerland, Laurasia, Gondwana and Zealandia)

Not sure about that, but there will be new backgrounds, ranging from very simple to extremely detailed, and there will be a lot more maps added.

I don't know about this one but there will be 1850, cold war, alternative history, and a few more I can't remember.

Again I don't know but what I know is that we will be doing some stuff with the HRE, like making it a big alliance and that.

I know that for democracy type governments there will be elections, and the ones that are dictatorships will be like HOI4 that it will have a "wheel" where it shows what people are(ideology), not sure about the monarchy, going to ask Dave about that.

I'm not sure because Dave is the coder, he is the ones that have the files with the stuff changes, he also said that he will "release" it on discord but only for the developers to check it out, and he said that will be at version 0.0.2.0 and currently the mod is about version 0.0.1.8, and then he will release it to the public at version 0.1.0.0. But because we manage to find a way to code it faster I think that in 2 weeks it will be released for the developer only(v0.0.2.0) and then I think that by the end of the month it will be released to the public, but this is my prediction.

By what I know Addon+ has only added more civilizations, more formable civilizations, more maps, new UI, more music, more scenarios and fixed a few bugs, and I'm not sure if it's going to edit the codes to add more features like we are doing with levels of vassals and that.

In this post, I will say some stuff that is going to be added into the mod but Dave forgot to add to the main post.

Stuff that I know are going to be added:

  • Religions
  • Focus trees(like hoi4)
  • Reworked unemployment and world population(more realistic, because for example in the modern day world there are only 66 million people)
  • Different types of vassals(colonies, states, etc...)(just realized he actually posts it, but I will just leave it here)

Stuff that is likely added:

  • More types of army(infantry, tanks, planes)

Stuff that might get added:

  • Nukes

I will update this post each time I know something more that is going to get added.

Now here is a actual question: will the Army change (knights in (500-1300? Idk) depending on the age (Age of Feudalism, Age of Darkness etc.) ?

Also, will more Ages be added?

And in my opinion, some provinces need changing and adding. About more than a quarter.

      Hi there folks, I'm here to tell you that I'm very imaginative and very obsess with my idea. Since I was a kid, I like Geography. I love to learn the politics of the world. Until then, I've created my version of the world. 
      So I decided to make a mod that suits my 'Imaginary World.' The imaginary world is a world that I create based on my brothers' idea. I write every piece of information about them and play them every day on my mind. As you already know, I'm already 17. I'm getting busier. My childish mind is slowly gone and fade away. So, I decided to create a mod for them in AoH2 (so called AoC2 in the past).
      If you interested in my creation is, you can reply down below and give me some motivation to do this. Also, you can follow for never miss an update and when I release this mod.
      Progress:
      9/251 countries 2030 border done (Not sure the count. Hey, I'm amazed.) 0/251 countries created (including name, flag, and government.) 0/12 Ideologies (Need to copy AoH2 for this one) 689 Provinces (quite a lag on my laptop but I test it on my computer 😄) [My calculator says, it will bring up to 48,600 province...] 0/10 Continent done (I'll list you the continent if I'm ready to...)       Anyways, I added one country per-day, and two will be on weekends. A week I've covered 9 countries. (Aprox. to finish: 27 more week... I guess)
